PROCEDURE TITLE: Determining Need and Methods for Chemically Induced Deactivation
APPLICABILITY: Application of rotenone in waters of the United States
PURPOSE: 1. Mitigate for movement of rotenone and effects to non-target organisms
beyond the Treatment Area (see SOP 6)
2. Provide guidance for determining if deactivation is necessary to protect
non-target organisms beyond the Treatment Area and a protocol for
successful deactivation
